First house showing

As Joe and I were sitting comfortably on the sofa Friday afternoon, our doorbell rang. I went to answer it, and it was a lady and her little boy of about 5 years old. She said she noticed our house was up for sale and wanted to take a quick look at it. We didn’t think anything of it and let her and her son in. As soon as the boy saw our dogs, all hell broke loose. What ensued next is just craziness (normal in my life!)!!!! As I was showing the lady around the house, the boy started squeaking one of the dogs’ many balls. This causes insanity in the dogs and the child! Joe decides he is going to put all of the rugrats outside. Well, that worked for about 2 seconds. The kid just kept pestering the dogs. Finally, the lady was finished looking and it was time for her and her child to leave…or so we thought. As we walked around the corner, we saw this brat in Sly’s crate. Yes, that’s right in the crate. The mom thaought this was just hilarious. She began taking pictures while Joe and I were like what the hell is happening!?!?! When she told her son it was time to go, he immediately pedaled to the very back of the crate and clutched the sides with both grubby little hands. After about 3 minutes, she finally bribed him out with candy. As we closed the door behind them, relief fell over us as well as many thoughts I dare not share. We only thought we were done with them though. Later that night, we went to the convenient store, Guess who was there? That’s right…crazy mom lady. She was super chatty about the house even though Joe was clearly not interested in talking to her. Seriously, isn’t life weird?
